An immersive 3D virtual reality tour experience of Pompeii
Don't just imagine what Pompeii must have been like. Experience it! You will be surrounded and completely immersed in a 360 degree virtual reality historical re-creation of ancient Pompeii - just as it was before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Get ready for a unique time-travel journey through the ruins of Pompeii.
Here is how it works:
1) Arrive at your pre-determined, convenient meeting location right outside the entrance to the ruins.
2) A staff member will check you in and give you your "time traveling equipment" (your 3D VR headset).
3) You will receive a 5-minute demonstration on how easy it is to use the headsets.
4) Next, you will follow your guide into the ruins and arrive at your first point of interest (see list of sights below).
5) Listen to your fun and passionate guide as he or she speaks about current points of interest.
6) Next, you will be instructed to put on your 3D headset and witness the point of interest you are standing in front of come back to life.
7) After watching the 2- to 6-minute "virtual reality scene" you will have time to take pictures and speak with your guide.
8) You will continue this experience through each of Pompeii's points of interest.
